Last weekend I travelled over to France to photograph the French Nation Division 1 match in St Omer. SCRA St Omer last years French Cup winners and current league leaders are 5 points clear of second position SPRS Ploufragan.
SCRA St Omer played a tactical match against Noisy le Grand (currently mid table) with good shots on goal making Noisy’s 6 foot goalkeeper focus on the ball.
It was a good match to watch along with the 300 home spectators who would have been happy with the 5 – 2 win.

The Intermediates cup final on 8th July 2006 will be Herne Bay United v Bury St Edmunds as Middlesbrough have withdrawn their team from the competition.
