England Seniors arrive at the Worlds
Nine members of the England senior team arrived in Vigo, Spain yesterday (Friday) and due to work commitments Brendan Barker our tenth player will follow on Wednesday. After arriving in the northern Spanish town the team had a brief rest then travelled to the nearby rink home of Spanish first division club Vigo Stick for their first training session in Spain.
This bi-annual championships will be stage in two venues, IFEVI Vigo and Pabellón Municipal de Pontevedra where England play France on Monday and Germany on Tuesday in the first phase of this championship.
England play Italy today at 9.30pm (8.30pm UK time) and this match is due to be streamed live on the internet plus close up still pictures can be seen in the International section of the photo gallery.
The team:- Ian Morrison, Dan Palmer, James Taylor, John Jones, Grant Zaccaria, Michael Albleson, Marc Waddingham, Ricky Jupp, Karl Smith and Brendan Barker.
