Under19-2009
The Ladies team made history by finishing on the podium in 3rd place for the Ladies Under 19 European Championships, which was held in Mealhada, Portugal from 3rd – 5th September.

I am very pleased with the achievement of our team in this competition beating Germany 3-2 for 3rd places, considering we lost 6-3 in the group stages earlier, this result was an excellent reaction from our team.

Spainish Conference Competition

Filed under: International News — Gordon Morrison @ 20 May 2009

shot2.jpgPlaying a conference competition is not a new thing we in the UK played it up until six years ago after which the Inter-Regional competition was introduced. Spain stage their conference competition in Oveido last weekend where the top team from each of the eight regions competed for the National under 17 champions. It was a treat for me to be able to go and photograph some of Spains future national team players. Josep Ordeig, Spains national coach was present for all of the three day tournament, may be looking for his U17 team for Dinan France in September. I managed to get some cracking shots of the young hopefuls and see some excellent Roller Hockey with friends from the Senior European championships of last year.
